Stephan is a Senior Research Fellow at University of Southern Queensland and a Senior Process Engineer with Scolexia Pty Ltd.
Stephan is a wastewater engineer with specialist skills in water and wastewater treatment and chemistry and biogas production, treatment, and use. He predominantly works in agro-industries, promoting and facilitating adoption of wastewater treatment and resource recovery technologies to profit industry. Stephan is a chartered professional engineer with the Institution of Chemical Engineers and Registered Professional Engineering in Queensland (RPEQ).
His industry experience was gained in Australia and in Hong Kong. He is the former secretary of an IWA Taskgroup for chemistry modelling in wastewater, with strong expertise in the areas of aquatic chemistry, inorganic scale formation and prevention, and minerals precipitation processes.
