Mojtaba is a PhD candidate at The Australian Centre for Water and Environmental Biotechnology (formerly AWMC), where he evaluates the water performance of architectural design alternatives and decentralised technologies and their impact on the urban water cycle. His research helps to identify solutions that provide greater residential densities while minimising the negative environmental impacts of urban developments. Mojtaba’s expertise includes integrated urban water management, urban hydrology, and the interface of water and urban design. He develops quantitative models to analyse water in urban spaces across scales, using conceptual, physical, and machine-learning (data-driven) modelling techniques.
