Matthew has 25 years of experience in the evaluation and design of water treatment processes largely involving desalination & brine management within engineering consulting & academia.
He has been with GHD for the last 5 years and is the current Water Treatment & Desalination Service Line Leader for APAC. He has worked on brine projects for water utilities and various energy, power and resource sector companies. Solutions covered salt / resource recovery, brine concentration (via membranes and thermal evaporators) and crystallisation (or ponds), brine injection, co-disposal, landfill, treatment and release etc.
Matthew has been involved in teaching courses over the last 10 years for the Institution of Chemical Engineers and IWES covering process modelling for water treatment professionals and brine management.
