James is a founding Director of Viridis Consultants, a niche water and environmental consultancy business that has been working almost exclusively in the area of developing water safety management plans for the last three years. He has extensive experience in water quality risk assessment, recycled water schemes and is a certified Lead Auditor for Drinking Water Quality Management Systems. He has undertaken water quality risk assessments for a significant proportion of the South East Queensland Water Grid, including most of the water treatment plants, Tugun Desalination Plant, bulk distribution, grid operations and a number of the retail water service providers. At present he is preparing a drinking water quality management plan for a regional Queensland water service provider.
In addition to the drinking water work James has also undertaken projects in the area of recycled water, including the Western Corridor Scheme, where he has worked on the scheme plan and a number of provider plans and the Cairns Regional Council dual reticulation scheme.
