Matthew has 25 years of experience in the evaluation and design of water treatment processes largely involving desalination and brine management within engineering consulting and academia.
He is the currently the Water Treatment and Desalination Service Line Leader for APAC with GHD. He has worked on brine projects for water utilities and various energy, power and resource sector companies. Solutions covered salt / resource recovery, brine concentration (via membranes and thermal evaporators) and crystallisation (or ponds), brine injection, co-disposal, landfill, treatment and release etc.
Matthew has been involved in teaching courses over the last 10 years for the Institution of Chemical Engineers and IWES covering process modelling for water treatment professionals and brine management.
