Dr Gayle Newcombe - Manager Customer Value & Water Quality Research, Australian Water Quality Centre, SA Water Corporation.

Gayle has worked in the drinking water industry for 25 years, participating in and leading collaborative and interdisciplinary research projects investigating activated carbon treatment, oxidation and biological degradation of taste and odour compounds, natural organic matter and cyanobacterial toxins.

Gayle holds an Adjunct Associate Professor position at the University of South Australia and is the author of over one hundred and fifty publications - research reports, book chapters, conference papers, and peer-reviewed journal papers - on different aspects of drinking water treatment. She is currently an editor of Journal of Water Supply: Research and Technology - AQUA.
