Chris Davis


Chris Davis is a Commissioner of the National Water Commission, an Associate of the Institute for Sustainable Futures of the University of Technology Sydney, and an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at that university. He serves on the Industry Advisory Network for the Faculty.

Chris was CEO of the Australian Water Association (AWA) from 1992 to 2007 and has had significant management, technical and consulting experience in water quality and wastewater treatment. He is chair of the South East Queensland Urban Water Security Research Alliance, and is also Chair of the Sydney Metro Water Plan Independent Advisory Panel.

He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA from the University of New England. Chris is an Honorary Life Member of AWA.
